1. WiFi Connection
Normally the WiFi setup is quite easy by following the instruction in App. Just in case if you have difficulty to connect it to WiFi, please remind the doorbell only support 2.4GHz WiFi. You can follow the following steps to solve it.
- When install the App, please ensure to grant all permissions the app needed.
- Please try to keep your WiFi network name and password not too long, also avoid special symbols like commas, space, dot, ,.!?@ it is better only has characters and numbers.
- If still failed, please use another phone B as a hotspot, and connect your phone A and doorbell both to the Phone B’s hotspot WiFi, to check whether it is successful or not. If success, that means the doorbell is working correctly.
- If still failed, please follow CHECK FOR MORE SOLUTIONSat the bottom of the fail page. Or
- Separate your dual-band home WiFi to two WiFi network(2.4GHz and 5GHz), and connect the doorbell and your phone to 2.4GHz WiFi.)
- Turn off the Firewall feature and Smart WiFi (channel optimization ) in WiFi router if it has.

2. SmartPhone Notification
If your phone not ring when someone pressed the doorbell, the reason is most Android Smartphone will kill the background app.
Please try to search on the internet about your phone model + keep app running in the background. You may find the solution.

Can it be connected to 2 phones?
Yes. It can connect to maximum 5 phones.
Is this compatible with Google Assistant or nest?
360 door bell uses own application. It is very similar, but with many more options and functions, which is really great.
Does it work on 5ghz?
It works only with 2.4GHz Wi-Fi. Not 5GHz.
Does the range of the doorbell depend on the range of the WiFi network?
Yes. The doorbell need WiFi network. But the indoor chime has built in WiFi repeater which can help to extend the range.
Can you connect two door bells (front and back door) to one chime?
Sorry. Only one to one configure. If you need two bells, then two chimes are needed. But they are controlled within same App. The two doorbells are good idea, I actually put three doorbells in my home: front, back and garage.
Can i view on the app using my mobile data or do i need to be connected to the wifi whilst out and about?
Yes, you can view the real time video or answer the doorbell using your mobile data. Both mobile data and WiFi are supported.
What APP is used?
It is called 360 Smart Camera. It can control the doorbell and 360 brand camera in the same app. In the app, you can start the real time monitoring, check history record in cloud (free of charge ) or in local SD card, answering doorbell and talk to visitors. Very rich functions there.
Can you adjust detection zones?
Yes, you can adjust the detection zones with three levels: near, medium, far.
Can I set my Alexa show to show live feed? Can you wire to the mains?
The 360 video doorbell cannot work together with Alexa. The 360 smart camera app has rich functions & features. The outdoor unit only use battery and WiFi, it can not wire to the mains. The indoor Chime shall be plugged into main power sockets.
Do yo get a charge cable?
The charge cable is included.
Can you please confirm if the item is waterproof and safe to use outdoors or indoor only please？
This item is not fully waterproof, the pin hole on the top need to be covered. So it will be totally suitable for those outdoor use if there is roof or cover on the top of door. If the door has totally no cover, and it will be fully wet when it rains, then it is not suitable for that situation.
If some one ring (push button) or motion detection video or audio notification is real time or delay few second like other bell?
The notification to handset normally is almost real time, we can say less than 4 second. The server is based on Europe locally which can help it go faster. But some smartphone will kill the app running in the background when you lock screen, we need to make some settings of the smartphone, such as do not run Battery Optimisation for this App, allow Auto start and Background running of this App, allow Notification when screen lock. If you don’t know how to do that,you can contact us through contact seller.
Are there additional wifi chimes available?
Currently not. Thank you for your questions, we think this is valid requirement and we have sent this requirement to manufacture.

The size of the doorbell unit is: 15.10 x 6.10 x 3.20 cm.
Whats the difference between the Chinese version and the EU version?
The current two version which are sold on Amazon UK are all EU versions. Compare to the ones sold in China, the main differences include: 1. it is using EU local cloud storage, not the cloud in China. 2.The power plug is different. The one sold in China only has power plug in Chinese standard. This one here is using universal power plug, you can plug to any power socket in different country. 3.The language: here the manual is with multiple languages and the app is multi language support too. 4.We have local technical support here in UK to help you solve your concerns and questions.
15.1 cm is not big for a door bell ?
We normally stick it to the middle of the door, not door frame. So it will not shows too big.
Will this work with Smart Life App?
360 video doorbell has his own smart app for Android and iOS
It seems so easy to remove. If you have one, can you tell me if there are ways to secure it and avoid someone steals it in a few seconds?
Actually it is very hard to remove it by the strangers. First, the 3M sticker on the backboard is very reliable and hard to take it off. Second, to dismount the doorbell from the backboard, you need one pin (like the pin you take the SIM card from the handset), and also you need to disable one function says Force Disassembly Alarm before you dismount it. Otherwise, the doorbell will alarm with big sounds and send notification to your handset. Third, we provide one year theft protection which means if your doorbell is stolen, we can give one to you for free.
Do I need a eu to uk socket converter for the plug in bell?
No. This doorbell has all kinds of plug. UK power plug is included.
What is the wifi range? my gate, where i intend to place the bell, is about 20 – 30 feet away from my wifi?
That is too far for smooth video. The best video solution is within 3 meters.
Where can i get a spare sticker from cause maybe moving house?
If you need to move house, you can use hair dryer to gently blow to the bottow of the back board sticker part, then it can be peeled off slowly with patience. If you still need one spare sticker, you can contact me through contact seller. I will try to find one for you.
Is the battery level shown in the app so you can see when it’s getting low?
Yes, in the app, you can see your battery level and how strong is your WiFi signal. Normally one charge can work around three months. So normally you don’t need too worry about that.
how to charge battery?
First, disable “force disassembly alarm” in the app. And then use a pin to press one hole on the top of the doorbell, and dismount it from the back board on the door. Use USB charging cable to charge it. Normally one charge can work 3-6 months.(according to the frequency it records the video).
Doorbell not ringing on phone, hi I installed this bell and everything works fine except when someone rings the doorbell I do not get the notification?
This is mainly because a lot of smart phone will kill the Apps which are running in background when you lock the screen. But the doorbell app”360 Smart Camera” need to be kept alive to get the notification and ringing. So what we need to do is make configuration optimization in the smart phone.
Can you contact me, I can give you more detail instructions because different smart phone model has different configuration. You can also try to search on internet by searching: keep app running in background + your handset model , to try to find the solutions.
Here I can give one example with Huawei Mate 10:
1. Auto launch: Handset Settings – Apps – App launch – 360 Smart Camera. Make sure to set manage manually. To let it can auto launch and run in background.
2.Battery optimization : Search Battery in Handset Settings , you can find Battery optimisation , select 360 Smart Camera, change it to Don‘t allow.
3.Notification : Handset settings – notifications, Lock screen notifications to Show. Then select 360 smart camera, to Enable all settings.
4.Lock app in background. After you run the 360 smart camera App, press the system menu button in main screen of handset. Find this app, slide/drag this app down, until the lock appears to be locked status.
